This is a place where my heart is planting seeds. And I’m very grateful for your presence here!

I was born and raised in Colombia where all my family still is and the roots of my spirit. My English is not perfect, but I do not want to give you any AI perfect generated text here. Any description of my art and the writings in my blog are coming from me because I believe that more than ever the world needs our authentic voice.

This space is an invitation for you to see my creative journey that I am constantly weaving with the conversations I have with the Earth. I should say that I am mostly the listener, of course, and sometimes I ask questions that she responds with overwhelming beauty and wisdom. 
In other words, I AM A LIFELONG STUDENT OF THE EARTH, AND CREATING WITH HER IS MY PRACTICE.                                          

I could tell you a detailed biography, but instead, these are the words that come to mind. Since I was a little one I was amazed by the natural world. I was very blessed to have parents who took me to the mountains in a daily basis, and herbal folk medicine was very alive in my house. We always had herbs growing in our garden and that place was my sister’s and I little heaven. Also, my dad is a long life wood artisan, among other thousand things he tried, and his devotion to it has inspired me and sparked my craftiness. So, as a result, after many years of exploration, trial and error, walking the “wrong”path, etc. I can say with peace that I am a multi passionate creator inspired by nature with a deep devotion to the “intangible” realm of the Spirit of the Earth. Behind the scenes, if I am not crafting, I am dancing, hiking, talking with my family, daydreaming, making love, crying, laughing, doubting, eating, and being completely a human discovering how to live this crazy but wonderful life. 

I cannot promise you that you will only see jewelry here, or that I will have monthly updated inventory. I have tried that route, and it did not work for me. This year, I finally promised myself  to created what IS ALIVE IN ME, whatever makes me excited and the muses had visited me begging me to bring to life and idea. However, I can promise you that anything I create weather is crafted, written, painted, etc. IS INSPIRED by the beauty, medicine and wisdom of the Earth. I love creating adornments, very slow crafted, but sometimes I cannot but make an altar piece, or a hanging decor. I might be having a whole month overflowing of paintings, or writing, perhaps I might feel like trying new art forms. Also, it could happen that I devote myself into silence and cocooning. But do not worry, I am committed to have this project alive, so both you and me can be inspired to connect with the Great Mother who carries all the answers about our lovely existence.
